What is West Quad?
AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) is divided into four quadrants: Midwest, Northeast, South, and West Quad. Hawaii is apart of the West Quad Conference. Each quad has one or two conferences hosted in different cities by different chapters. Unlike other national AIAS conferences, the Quad Conferences are less about leadership and workshops, and more of a chance to explore the architecture of a new city and a new theme. They give chapters within proximity to each other a chance to meet, share ideas, and learn with other like-minded students.
Thanks to the Double Tree hotel, they have agreed let our guests book rooms at a reduced rate to help minimize travel expenses during our West Quad!
